Aquafina Junior Series @ Avon Golf Course

The third installment of the Aquafina Junior Series took place today at Avon Golf Course in Lexington, KY.  The facility is located on the old Avon Army Depot property (now called Bluegrass Station) in the northern part of Fayette County.

It was a beautiful day in the Lexington area with near perfect weather consisting of sunny skies and 70 degree temperatures producing ideal scoring conditions for competitors.  Twenty-five junior golfers within 3 age divisions teed it up to compete over Avon Golf Courses' challenging 9 hole layout.  The competition produced some excellent scores resulting in scorecard playoffs for awards in 2 of the 3 age divisions.

A complete listing of players and their scores are available on the "Events" section of our junior golf website.

The KGA-PGA, Inc. would like to thank the Avon Golf Course staff, the Lexington Parks and Recreation department and Director of Golf for Lexington - Fayette Urban County Government, Mike Fields for efforts in hosting the event.
