2010 Pepsi Junior Golf Tour Season Concludes With Tournament of Champions @ Oxmoor Country Club

Thank you to all of the individuals that gave their time this summer to help make the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour season a great success.  To the host facilities, PGA Professionals, KGA-PGA, Inc. rules officials and interns, parents and junior competitors we truely thank you for making the summer of 2010 a memorable one.

Information concerning the 2011 Pepsi Junior Golf Tour Schedule and Events will be available on the junior golf website via http://www.kygolf.org/ after the first of the year.  Enjoy the rest of your summer, junior and high school golf, and the off season. 

We hope to see everyone for the fall Aquafina and Mountain Dew Junior Series events at Owl Creek Country Club in Louisville (Saturday, September 11, 2PM Shotgun), Lakeside Golf Course in Lexington (Sunday, September 19, 2PM Shotgun), Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville (Sunday, September 26, 1PM Shotgun) and the 2nd Annual Mountain Dew Bluegrass Junior Championship at a site TBD (Saturday and Sunday, October 23-24, 1PM Shotgun)... more information coming soon.  To register for these events you can print, fill out and send in an entry form to Golf House Kentucky or do so online via http://www.kjga.com/registration.aspx.

We also look forward to seeing some of you for The KHSAA State Golf Championships at Bowling Green Country Club in early October and at sites around the great Commonwealth of Kentucky for the 2011 Pepsi Junior Golf Tour!

Maddie Hamilton (Girls 13-15 Age Division) recorded her second career hole-in-one on the par 3 7th hole.  Both of Maddie's aces have come this summer in competition while playing in Pepsi Junior Golf Tour events (the other came earlier this summer on hole #14 at Long Run Golf Course).

2010 Kentucky Junior Amateur Championship

The 2010 Kentucky Junior Amateur Championship was concluded today with second and final round play at three seperate sites.  Bardstown Country Club @ Maywood, My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course and Lindsey Golf Course at Fort Knox played host to Kentucky's premiere Junior Golf event.  The brother-sister combination of Kyle and Megan Wilshire swept the overall titles.  Please view the full story on the homepage of our website.
